Despite the continued credit crunch, summer 2010 has been booked out in the Algarve. Lots of people have been out when in booking their holidays - they thought that there would be lots of availability & plenty of discounts.
THIS WASN'T THE CASE
The 2010 summer holidays have been busier than ever this year! Our self-catering villas & apartments were nearly ALL booked out well before the peak season started. Those who left it late in the expectation of discounts found huge difficulty in finding any accommodation left in the Algarve.
Not only that - the Algarve literally ran out of hire cars in summer. If you didn't book one, it's unlikely that you got one if you left it until the last minute during the scholl holiday weeks to order your hire car.
