One of the most frequently asked questions from those who have never been to the Algarve before is "what's the weather like in. . .June. . September. . .January. . etc?".
Obviously we can't guarantee the weather at any time, anywhere, but the Algarve has a reputation for all year round sunshine. The planes from UK aiports aren't bursting at the seams all year round with repeat visitors for nothing.
Winter in the Algarve is like our spring (or summer!), but it is winter and temperatures can drop quite low, particularly in the evening, and it will rain from time to time. But during a January holiday you'll probably find yourself going through more sun protection cream than you thought possible at that time of year in Europe!
So the answer is - we don't know what the weather will be like during your holiday. But we hope that the weather chart on this page will give you a good indication of what to expect.
